Author's Note: A drabble, set in summertime. Mentions of femmeslash, if that bothers you, don't read.

Sandry laughs, head tilted back slightly, a slim, white hand grasping half of a lush, red berry and Daja feels drunk on happiness, laughter and the same red juice that stains her friend's lips.

And she can't resist, something grabs her, and she just can't stop herself.

Briar shouts something in the background, but all Daja knows is she's leaning in and her lips are against Sandry's and, oh, she's being kissed back and...

She tastes like strawberries.

Oh, I read the summary and hoped it would be Daja/Sandry. I love them both, separately or together, and this little fic is sweet and fresh as strawberries. I'm delighted that you decided to post it.

I honestly didn't think I'd write Daja/Sandry when I started writing for the fandom, or even when I wrote the first sentence of this, but here we are. XD

Thanks! I'm kind of addicted to icon-making, and there was a casting thread (http://fiefgoldenlake.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=emelan&action=display&thread=41) over at the Goldenlake message board, and once I found the right faces for all of them, I had to make it. :)
